The exhibition LUST Collection – Lust For Life presents works from the private collection of Lukáš Šoltys, whose passion for art was born spontaneously and out of natural motives stemming from everyday life situations. Lukáš Šoltys is described as a “free mountain man in body and soul” who is guided primarily by his own feelings when expanding his collection. In less than three years, he has managed to collect some 230 works by 70 artists, most of them from the years 1930-2025. Although he is assisted by Zdeněk Sklenář, David Hanvald and Tomáš Rýdl, Šoltys' collection has a distinctly individual character. It breathes the connection of artworks with the soul of the collector, his passionate approach to art without compromise and superfluous attributes. Sholtys' “selection with heart and soul”, free from any calculation, gives his collection a new and rare added value in the art world.
